Our Design Process
3eighteen media uses a simple, time-tested, four-step process for design projects.
- We begin with a phone consultation to talk to you about your business, your goals, and your overall vision. We also offer our own insight and advice to put you further towards your ideal goals.
- Next, we do a concept image of your product (also called a mockup), where we take your input and convert it into the look and feel you desire. We also offer more insight, research, and analysis into design for your particular area of business, and use that to go forward with building your product. This is particularly important with web design, e-mail newsletters, and logo design projects.
- Now comes the fun part: turning your design into a reality! 3eighteen media uses the latest techniques in design for constructing your project. For web projects, we use XHTML, CSS and Javascript and adhere strongly to standards-based web development. We also use PHP and MySQL for database-driven websites, and can implement your design into a theme for use with Wordpress, Textpattern or Movable Type. For print design, we use the best vendors available to complete your project.
- Finally, we work with you concerning maintenance for your finished project. Will you need monthly updates for your site? Do you refresh your printed collateral every season? Did your company launch a new product and you need marketing pieces? Our work doesn't just end with your project; let our knowledge of web analytics, content development, and product marketing turn your project into an ongoing success.
